FAQ

When will my order ship?
We're targeting the end of Q3 2026 for the first production run. Early-bird backers ship first — in the order pre-orders were placed. You'll receive a shipping confirmation email the day your unit leaves. If the timeline shifts we'll email everyone on the list with an update before it happens.
Which Bafang motors are compatible?
Tested and confirmed: M560, M510, M430, and M820.

Your bike also needs to use the Bafang 5-pin triangle connector — this is the standard CAN bus cable on all modern Bafang mid-drive motors. Check the cable running between your motor and display: it should have a triangular 5-pin plug (not a round multi-pin or JST connector). If you're on the right motor but have an older harness with a different connector, email us and we'll advise.

BBSHD, BBS02, and hub-motor G-series motors use a different communication protocol and are not currently supported.
Is the install reversible?
The bridge itself is fully removable — it sits inline in the existing motor harness using standard connectors, no soldering required. Unplug it and the hardware is gone. Note that any speed limit you've written via the app is saved directly to the motor and stays there after the bridge is removed. To revert the speed limit you'll need the bridge connected to write it back. Installation takes about 10–15 minutes with no tools beyond a zip tie to tuck the cable.
What's the refund policy?
Full refund any time before your unit ships — no return needed. Once shipped, if the bridge doesn't work with your motor, return the unit within 30 days and we'll refund you in full. Email iamjiiyan@gmail.com to start the process.
Do I need a phone to use it?
Yes — the bridge needs the PedalPass app open on your phone to apply live profile changes or unlock the bike. Once a permanent speed write has been done via the app, the motor holds that setting independently — the phone isn't needed for the bike to run at the unlocked speed. The bike lock PIN persists in the bridge's memory between sessions.
Is the early-bird price a one-time payment?
Yes. $149 USD total for the physical device — a $49 USD deposit now and $100 USD before we ship. No subscription, no monthly fees. You're backing the development of the project and getting the hardware when it ships. All app features included at no extra cost.
When is the iOS app coming?
iOS development kicks off once we reach $2,500 USD in confirmed funds. That covers the Apple Developer subscription ($99 USD/year) required to publish on the App Store, plus the build and review work to get it live. If you're an iPhone user, your pre-order directly makes that happen. Everyone who pre-orders will be notified by email the day the iOS app goes live.
What countries do you ship to?
We're shipping internationally — Australia, NZ, UK, most of Europe, US, Canada, and Southeast Asia. Shipping cost will be calculated at checkout. If your country isn't listed at checkout, email us and we'll sort it manually.
